How to make potato salad

  • 500 gr of potatoes
  • 150 gr green beans
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 150 gr of tuna in olive oil
  • 15 boneless olives
  • 150 gr of melon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 liters of water
  • 30 ml of olive oil
  • 10 ml wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lettuce bud
  • 1 tablespoon soft mustard

Take a large pot, add enough water and put two tablespoons of salt, bring to a high heat. As soon as it boils, add the 500 grams of potatoes that you have previously washed, peeled and cut into small pieces. They should be tender, so they will be ready in about 25 minutes, but go pricking with a fork to make sure they have the texture and body necessary for the salad.

While the potatoes are being made, take the 150 grams of green beans, remove the tail, wash and cut into pieces. Take another smaller saucepan, boil water with a little salt and when it comes to a boil, introduce the beans and let them be done for about 10 minutes. When tender remove, cool with plenty of water and set aside.

Take the 4 eggs and bring to a boil, let them be done for about 8 minutes, then drain, rinse and reserve. At this time the potatoes will be well done, remove from the pot, drain and let them cool. Once they are at normal temperature, reserve the potatoes in a bowl or salad bowl. Then take the lettuce, rinse with plenty of water, cut in half and repeat the process again to make smaller pieces.

Mix the lettuce chopped in the bowl with the potatoes, then take the 10 cherry tomatoes, rinse, cut in half and put them in the bowl. Then add the 15 pitted olives and beans. Take the 150 grams of melon, cut a large slice and then chop it into small pieces. Next, you can add to the bowl with beans, potatoes, olives, and tomatoes.

Now we are going to make the dressing for this wonderful and exquisite potato salad. Take a bowl and put 30 ml of olive oil, 10 ml of wine vinegar, 1 small spoon of soft mustard, a little salt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Take a whisk and mix all the ingredients well so that a unified and light dressing is created. Once mixed, you can already pour some of the dressing on the salad.

It only remains to add the eggs to top off this potato salad. Cut them in several halves, put the egg pieces and sprinkle over the salad, add the 150 grams of tuna in olive oil and in the end add the rest of the delicious dressing.
