Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I love to always have different options of jams to choose from because they look good with pancakes, crepes, toasts.
Although you can also use the jam in cookies or to fill a cake or tartlet and enjoy wonderful snacks. My favorite is the homemade strawberry jam and today I'm going to teach you how to do it quickly and easily.4 people 45 minutes Low difficulty Ingredients:
- 1 Kg of ripe strawberries
- ¾ Cup of water
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- Lemon juice
The strawberry leaves and then wash them well, they are cut into small pieces and placed in a bowl.
The sugar is added and mixed so that it reaches all the strawberry pieces. Once mixed, let it rest for about 1½ to 2 hours.2
During the resting time the sugar will act on the strawberries by extracting its juice.
They take then Strawberries (Yes, because in many places strawberries are known as strawberries) with everything and its juice to a pot, add the cup of water and lemon juice. It will cook over medium heat until it starts to boil, then the heat is reduced to a minimum and at this point it will be removed frequently to prevent the mixture from sticking to the pot.
