How to make bacon and cheese muffins


Who said that muffins can they only be sweet? The truth is that we can also prepare these muffin with the salty ingredients that we like the most and thus get a different and very attractive dish. In we want to explain how to make bacon and cheese muffins, a simple and quick recipe with which young and old will suck their fingers. Let's do it!

The first step to prepare your salty muffins will be chop the bacon into tacos or strips and brown it in a pan without oil, because with the heat it will release its own fat. Once we have the golden bacon, we must reserve it in a plate with absorbent paper towels to remove excess fat.


Now we will start preparing the dough of the bacon and cheese muffins; for it, we will throw the two eggs in a bowl and beat them a little with the help of some rods or a fork.


Next, we must add the remaining liquid ingredients to the bowl, that is, milk and melted butter. Mix it with some rods, either manual or in the blender if you find it more comfortable.


On the other hand, you must sift the flour so that it is thinner and without lumps. Do not worry if you do not have a sieve, because you can use the strainer that you usually use in the kitchen.


Then add to the sifted flour a teaspoon of Royal yeast, a pinch of salt and ground black pepper. With a spoon, stir it a bit to integrate the ingredients.


In this way, now you will have the three components that will integrate your bacon and cheese muffins: the sifted flour together with the rest of the dry ingredients, the liquid mixture and the golden bacon.


Therefore you must put them all together and mix them gently with the help of the rods or a spatula. It is important that you make the minimum possible movements to get the right consistency for the salty muffin dough.
